Now I'm not too sure if this question was answered yet since I have registered but a few days ago. In any case, what is the connection between the Tsukasa from the anime series and the Elk from the game? The game, I'm assuming, does take place before the series?

One more. In the Case of Minase Mai, the one who was in the coma was Kite, right? He must have been defeated by the final boss, I'm guessing. Just like in the series, at the very end Sora went into a coma when he was defeated by the Evil side of Ella.

Er...from what I know so far in the .hack game,I dont think Tsukasa and Elk are the same or know each other really. ^^;; I do realize that both of them have the same type of personality,so yeah,that is just kinda weird.But then again on what I just said,I could be wrong,I havent played the other volumes of the .hack games.

If I was to tell you the reason why Elk LOOKS like Tsukasa, that would involve me confusing you beyond all belief.

Saiga Mitsuki-sempai (Tsukasa and Elk's VA) was asked once if Tsukasa and Elk were the same. Her answer is as follows:

"No, they are not. They have different players. Tsukasa's a girl, Elk's a young boy."

However, what she said is right. I don't understand a word of what you said on that aspect.
