What exactly IS .Hack//AI Busters?
Ive never heard of it before, can anyone give me a timeline or storyline?

AI Busters is a novel that takes place before .hack//SIGN - It's during when the game was being tested, before it was released to the public.

While I don't have a timeline for the novel itself, here's info on all the .hack timeline in general:

Isn't it just called "BUSTER" and not Busters? :\
Or does it matter..?
Anyhoo, one of my friends just got a hold of a copy! ^_^ And i'll see if he can put up some scans or something if I can get him to register on here!

Not much use for scans. other than the cover and like... 2 pages inside. The majority of pages are just novel. No illustrations.

Can someone tell me now much books (novels) are there and how much anime series??? Oh and the names... Cuz I'm downloading from Kazaa the episodes of .Hack//Sign and I have almost all (26), but I saw .Hack//Liminality and I don't know what this is... then there are some more.. like .Hack//Dust... well... Can some one tell me how many novel... and how many anime series are there...
And if someone does this for me... could you post eact .Hack//..... how many episodes has (so I can download em)

I suggest you look at the post referenced above. Liminality is same time period as the games, only different characters and in the real world.

Here's the overall timeline of the series and where/when everything takes place.

AI Buster is one novel.

SIGN is 26 episodes. 27 if you count Another Story which isn't out yet.

Liminality is four episodes, corresponding with the 4 games.

UdeDen (It's 'Dusk', by the way, not 'Dust'. - 'UdeDen' is another name for it, made by combining the words Udewa (bracelet) and Densetsu (legend). ) is currently at 2 manga volumes, and has a 12 episode TV series.
