Does anyone know if there is any chance liminality 4 will be released before the game?

AND...

Well, I'm sure we've all heard enough rumors...but I'm starting to get impatient

Does anyone have any confirmed info on the fourth game so we can have a teeny weeny little idea of the cool things to expect?

To answer your question, the current officially confirmed information is that:

There is a new Data Drain Attack (called, of all things, 'Drainheart', or something along those lines)
And Mistral returns.

So far, that's all that I could really translate from the CC2 .hack news page.

Current unconfirmed information from reliable sources is that characters from //SIGN are playable, or at least have some big role, though this can't be confirmed as the movie listing that we gained shows no evidence of any major plot revolving around them that would merit a cutscene. However, we don't know. Any other rumored, but mostly confirmed information would be available in the spoiler forum.

There are GS codes that allow you to hack the Member Address List - No //SIGN characters. Some people claim that Helba will be #17 on the "people you've met list," but - why is there no #17 on the Gifts to Friend's list?

Confirmed Info:
- Three Phase Battles
- Two Kubia Battles
- ... uhm... gee... heh, it's the last game

- Revealed that Kubia is the Bracelet's Shadow
- Mia turns [back] into Maha
- Orca returns
- The Drainheart is 40sp and does a 2128 Drain on all enemies that are Protect Broken. The 2128 Drain Data Drained a single enemy with a very high chance of getting a Rare.
- Concerning Mistral's return: She leaves in vol. 3 because she's having a Baby.

Except the Drainheart, this was all confirmed by someone who opened up the disk Data Files and bothered to go in there and weed them looking for stuff like this.

Was liminality 01 released before game 01? No.

Was liminality 02 released before game 02? No.

Was liminality 03 released before game 03? No.

Will liminality 04 be released before game 04? .. uhm, gee, I FSKING WONDER.

Maha is the cat-creature who was an important character in .Hack//Sign, the TV series prequal.
