You have new mail!

OK. I just beat the VOL. 1 of game today and I didn't get any mail from Elk at all. So...um..Did anyone else get any mail from Elk?

Actualy there are characters that you don't get any mail from oddly enough.... Its nothing big... but I was supprised that Gardenia e-mails you...

Well there is allways the other 3 volumes... ^_^

But I was real nice to him and I gave him all these real hard to get items. And I get no E-mail. That sucks. I was dying to talk to him.

Weird.. o.o; I think only Sanjuro and Blackrose e-mailed me at the end of the game.Then again..maybe it was because they were the last two in my party before the final battle?

Edit:Correction.Sanjuro,Blackrose and Mistral e-mailed at the end of the game.

Elk never emailed me either. But that's probably because I didn't like him. n.n;;;

Honestly, he drove me nuts. I wanted to smack him on a regular basis. x.x;; Hehhe... n.n; However, this won't become a topic on that. Nevertheless, I think Elk's one of the characters that doesn't communicate with you in the first place. He's so infatuated with Mia, that is. However, I've been told that you can have a max relationship level with him and he still won't ever email you. o.o

Looking through all the emails, I noticed 1 thing... Elk is never mentioned in any of them... It would be interesting if ya actually got one from him... Ya would have proved all of my snooping wrong...

I'm not 100% certain on this, but there is a high probability that, ya never receive an email from him... There is a chance that I am wrong...

I actually think that the e-mails are a random thing... I got tons upon tons of e-mails from Mistral... and quite a few from Gardenia... I even got a few from Sanjouro and Natsume... and of course all the plot e-mails...

The email system that they have set up in the .hack games is based on the relationship... The emails aren't completely random... they may appear to be, but some are done by key events, other by your relationship with the character...

I have the complete list of emails for all the games, so I know they aren't random... Each response has it's own reply built in... but they all end up the same way...

I'm not saying you weren't nice to Elk... I'm just saying what I see... And what I see is that there won't be any emails from Elk...

There may be a possibility of me missing some emails as I was searching through the file, but what I see is what I see...

Also... Elk doesn't seem to be the kind of person to email people anyways... He seems to only stay with Mia... From what I see in his personality, he wouldn't email anybody...
