Does anyone know if the level of your char in the first volume is transported to the next game? Do you just use the same memory card or start all over?
yes, this has already been discussed, and supposidly, if you continue one save file through all 4 games, you get something special or something like that
i'd talk to myself, but i dont feel like getting into an arguement
A completed file can continue playing through the game, when the next games come out you can bring everything over to the next. Which is great for me because my Kite is level 55 ^_^
We're all sick twisted individuals in a world where equal doesn't exist, and life is not fair...
One could easily sink $100+ and 100+ hours into the games, but I say it's cool. I certainly shall spend them for a good storyline. Since files can be used... oh the possibilities!
The .hack project is a multi-genre series, having both anime, manga, novels, and possibly most importantly, an RPG series consisting of 4 games. The games are for the PS2, and the first game .hack//INFECTION has ben released in the US, while three volumes have been released in Japan. The last volume will be released on the 10th of April in Japan.
i did not read all of the other messages but if and/or when you beat the game you get a data flag allowing you to transfer your data from the first game
One mystery begets the next and the doors of fate are opened.

Wow, lvl 55 in vol 1? You must of spent a long time lvling... I wouldn't be able to stand getting 1exp each monster...
Furik; he has 5 of each healing item. Luckily the first few dungeons of Vol. 2 don't require much item usage at all. However, the first dungeon of vol. 3 is a lvl. 52 dungeon, you're on 50, and you can't do it with just 5 of each healing item.
and god said unto cain, "wow you're pretty stupid."
--; I'm sure it's already been posted somewhere else, too.
And some people here -have- played the Japanese version, so it would be easy for them to find out. No, Mutation has not been released here yet. A few days, that's all.
