cant gain outside access to my FTP

ive set up a FTP, but it cant be accessed because i cant get around my router's firewall... i wanna disable it or set it up so i can give access to the FTP... currently i can only access it on the computer that is hosting it, which defeats its purpose... ive tried just everything i could think of... please help!

Did you actually try to disable your firewall?
If not just tell me what firewall program you have and i'll tell you how

its not a program, it is the the router's built-in firewall that is blocking access, and of course i tried to disable it, ive even tried to DMZ the ip and that didnt work

Goto add remove hardware and take ito ut for awhile
put it back in later

its not hardware though... its a router... it dosent get installed...i dont think you understand the problem fully...
