ys i was o2 night i live in dp so it happened at 12:00am lady subaru was talkin to the Genkan and she was sayin thatlord orca and lord balmung have.... and she stopped and i am wonderin wa coudve happened to them

i wonder if they died or go injured nnooo ahem i mean that would stink for orca nnnoo for Balmung

You learn who Orca and Balmung are in the ps2 games.

i think that was when she told him that they were worried about some of the happenings in the world

if u want i could get u the exact diolog for that since i got the first DVD

or if i'm mistaken u could tell me what episode it was and about when it happened and i'll check and let u know exactly what she said

thanx it was the episode calle ENCOUNTER when subaru talked to Tsukasa and also i think it is episode #6

Balmung and Orca are legendary players in The World who, back when The World had just come out, beat a Dragon in the special The One Sin event. These events take place in the .hack Novel, AI Buster. The Moderator here, Kite, has read AI Buster, so he could tell you details, but it's something about element changing and guessing. : P

From what I remember, Kite said they had beaten the quest because, unlike most people who had a three member party, they had only two members, and they could switch off doing magic attacks and physical attacks.. one would cast or do something while the other would attack, which was, pretty much, the secret behind beating this monster.

Of course, Balmung landed the final hit and therefor won the prize, which were the Wings of the Fallen Angel.

... which is probably a good thing, Orca would have looked ridiculous with them.
