Fairys... Long hair... doesn't add up

I'm watching my roomate play the new Breath of Fire game and came up with a question neither of us can answer... i need some wisdom here....

Fairys always have freaking long hair... but they have wings to fly... doesn't the long hair get in the way of their frail wings flapping?

Eh..the fairies are always like that,it's been that way in the Breath of Fire series.Even in Breath of Fire 3,maybe their hair just floats a bit so it doesnt feel so heavy? I dont know,that is just my guess..

fairies have magical powers no? If so, they probably use it to make their hair lighter or something ^_^;

You guys don't know anything. Fairy hair is as light as gossamer, which explains how it floats around so friggin much like they got some crazy perm.. fairy perm... So yeah, the wings are also magical, which means there's no trouble.

They're magical beings, physics and reality are stupid! BAH!!
