Fan Translated E-Text?
does any one know of a grupe? thats working on a translation? i would but i dont know japanese &_&

I've been trying to convince 3rr0r (my comrade-in-arms over at .scan, currently scanlating the .hack//Dusk manga) that once we get a stable translator (Argh! How hard is it to get one?) that we should try to translate AI Buster (though it is a big deal and long, and no comic, etc. So harder to translate).

I think a translated version of AI Buster, at this point, would be alot better than translated UdeDen manga. Since UDeDen has an anime [that sucks and is nothing like the manga, but whatever - it's for hte easily amused, obviously], AI Buster is much more in-demand.
and god said unto cain, "wow you're pretty stupid."
Likely, a stable translator will also demand a stable fee.
Kite had offered to do it, however, it would cost a bit of money as it's just a lot of text, like you said.
However, perhaps someone will take it upon themselves to do it for you. I hope that would be the case, but I wouldn't count on it o_O

Good luck. Your best bet will be to get books and go through them and actively use the language everyday. I've been learning the language for over six years (two in classroom), and still have a lot of trouble with kanji. Just giving you a heads up. -_^

Not to mention, with a language like Japanese, you need to learn the unspoken social aspects of how to speak it. Only immersion can give you full fluency, and even at that point, as a foreigner, you -should- only speak a certain way.
I've heard that most people find this the most difficult thing to learn about Japanese, however, at the moment I'm finding Kanji to be the most aggravating. Oish x.x; However, it's just one of those things you sit and practice. And practice. And practice. A lot. For years.
