Twilight Dragon

i think this is a stupid question to ask but in the Epitaph of twilight they talk about a Twilight dragon and in //infection Linda says "May the blessing fo the twilight dragon be on you" or something close to that

so does any one know who or what the Twilight Dragon is?

for a while i thought it was kite. but now i am not to sure, the epetaph is the story of .hack you just have to translate it. ^_^

After reading the Epitaph of the Twilight, I think its the Key of the Twilight cause in the Epitaph it says a few times
who quests for the Twilight Dragon
and since everyone is looking for the Key, it could be an analogy for it
just a guess

I think it means Kite. As the Epitaph says: The Girl without a shadow is searching for the Twilight Dragon.

The girl is Aura, and it can't be more obvious as Aura is th eonly character thta don't have shadow. And Aura is constantly looking for kite, so it is safe to assume Kite to be the dragon.

I think Linda said that to Kite since she didn't exactly know who or what it was, just that it would probably be the one to help save (and change) the World.

hehe, the twilight dragon receiving a blessing from himself.

Maybe the Twilight Dragon is intangible like the Key of Twilight. Kite may not be the dragon himself, but he may be the path to reaching it just like Tsukasa is the path to the keyof the twilight but he himself isnt the key.

I agree with the idea that Kite is probably the Twilight Dragon.

However, there would be some conflict with the idea that Aura is the shadowless one because the Epitaph of the Twilight I was provided to post here in this forum has no reference to the 'shadowless' one seeking Kite, but the 'shadowed one', which we had figured to be Kubia.

If I can be provided with an absolutely accurate copy of the Epitaph of the Twilight, this could be cleared up. Mine may be right, it may not.

The Shadowless Girl is mentione din the original story of Epitaph the Emma wrote, and can be found in Sora page.

The girl is mentioned again in an epitaph fragment we get in the game.

You missed what I said. In the translated version I was given, the girl referenced seems to be the 'shadowed' one. That's different from 'shadowless'. 'Shadowed' means they have a shadow, or is covered in shadow. 'Shadowless' implies that they have no shadow.

Please be clear, are you referring to the 'shadowed one' or the 'shadowless ones'?

And if you're referring to the girl as the 'shadowless one', can you please find a correct version of the epitaph so we can speculate over accurate material? This doesn't work if we aren't talking about the same thing --;;;

It's also not fair to the rest of us if you use something as evidence, however, you don't show it to add to your statements. Thus why I ask for information when people post it up, usually. ._.;; Reasons of evidence. :p

Perhaps we'd like to make our own conclusions from information that other people have?

Shadpwed One is not the Shadowless One.

Shadowless one is mentioned in the epitaph in the Cyber Connect's home page in Sora's Page. Shadowless Girl and the Black Makiand White Human(One of Helba's henchman use Black Human as his code name if you odn't know) set off to look for Twilight Dragon.

And in Vol.1 one of the Epitaph Fragment you found also mentiones the Shadowless One. I think it is the first one you get.
