Message boards

Some message board sites out there are really nice, much like this one.

But I'm looking for a *FREE* message board for my site for an anime that I have.

I currently have proboards, but you see, the problem with proboards is if you have a username, on your profile you get to put your real name or whatever, so when you make a post it'll say something along the lines of "posted by ____"

So the problem with that is if two people have the same name or whatnot, that it will get confusing, since the actual name you put, not your username, comes up. e.o; And I can't exactly pay for my site, so I can't have the features like that or anything.

So does anyone know any sites with free signups, with a layout sort of like this or the default for proboards, I don't like those cheapy looking ones ya know? I would appreciate. <3!! And a site that shows usernames rather than real names, again, much like this site.

I recommend using Invision boards. If you never been to one, then heres an example of what one can look like. http://invisionfree.com/forums/Floating_Island
Or since you love this one, then I suggest go for it and usephpBB to make one yourself. I did and its totally free, just you need a hoster to host it. Heres and example http://members.lycos.co.uk/altimit/phpBB2/index.php

If you can find a host with it, some domains have the option to install a phpbb2.0.0/2.0.4 board right from the cpanel with only a few mouse clicks.
