Hey everyone. I'm new to everything relating to .hack....I have a lot of episodes downloaded, although the only one I've watched so far is number 1. But it was amazing. I don't live in Japan anymore, but all my episodes are Japanese so it's basically the same. I was wondering, is there any sort of backstory I should know?

Also, does anyone know of a place where I can download an mp3 of the opening theme? That song is awesome.

Some sites post up mp3s of the songs on occaision for periods of time. I'm not naming any sites in particular, because I feel that this falls under the downloads notice, even if it's just mp3s. There are American rights on the series. Sorry about that.

There is the AI Buster series, but this is the .hack//SIGN forum, so... this is for discussion of the TV series only. n.n;; You should probably poke around different sections on the board.

Though .hack//SIGN is a prequel to the games, it is a good story in and of itself. I saw it alone before anything else, and it comes to explain itself in peices.

I will, of course! I first heard about .hack//INFECTION(the PS2 game) and thought it looked cool, so I poked around Kazaa for .hack stuff and learned about //SIGN. Anywho, I'll be on tomorrow after school, and I'll make sure to watch more episodes!

.hack//SIGN is presently being shown in the US on Cartoon Network, 3 PM Eastern on Saturdays.

Starting in March it will move to midnight on Saturdays.
