an OVA in some cases is part of a movie so u can think of this one has a 4 part movie

But they're got it right - its just an anime series that has been direct to video released. It was a very popular form of marketing when VCRs really picked up in japan, and the term has been held over.

The proper definition is probably 'ODA' (Origional Digital Animation) or 'OADD' (Origional Animation Digital Disk), but most people are just sticking with the old OAV / OVA bit.
