Matrix: Reloaded
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I highly recomend you see it before you read on. This movie was VERY intense.
I have a theory...
The Matrix has a Supermatrix that controls it.
Starting with Agent Smith. Neo free's Smith from the matrix's control, but neither him or Neo are free, as Agent Smith says to Neo.
The Oracle, and the Key Maker, maybe even the counselor, are programs controlled by the supermatrix. Both of these characters try to persuade everyone that they have a predestined purpose.
The Architect at the end of the movie, tells Neo how there have been 5 previous Matricies, each one of them ending in the same fashion. Zion being destroyed in the same way each time and being recreated again. This pattern is part of the control of the supermatrix. The supermatrix must keep Zion alive, because if they die in any level of the Matricies, then they will die in the real world.
Finally at the end of the movie, Neo realizes the supermatrix. He becomes aware of the sentinals and destroys them, as if he were in the matrix.
The agents in the matrix seem to have no idea that they work for a higher being, except for Smith.

I ended up seeing it Thurs. night at 7pm with two friends.
And I loved it. It was such a good sequel.
Except.. for the rave part.. if you know what I mean. They could've done without that.
But overall, I loved it and the music was good (not the soundtrack, the score) but not as good as the first one. Buy this is all my opinion. ^^

I'm the only person here who seems to think that Reloaded was a sellout. I mean, The matrix was perfect in everyway, and then it got shattered when the idea of turing it into a trilogy was announced. The fight scenes were very repetetive, you can't deny that! But, i'll have to wait until The Matrix: Revolutions come out to make a final rant.
six months...

Sure there was a lot of fighting scenes, but they were all varied! Some had malee weapons, hand to hand, hand to weapon, car to weapon, and so on. And tell me you didn't like the head on collision between 2 semi-trucks!
Enter the Matrix is a side story to Matrix reloaded. One character leaves a scene in the movie and enters a scene on the game. Both plots made to be understood without seeing the other. I was told that they spent 2 million on that game. Making everything just right. I hear that it has live actor cut scenes made exclusively for the game. These people aren't kidding around on a good reputation.
I also would rather they left out the Rave scene. But it had to be, if they were to correctly tell Neo and Trinity's relationship. Which leads me to another theory. That the woman who kissed Neo in front of Trin was also in service to the 'supermatrix'. Trying to break their bond as well as deliver the key maker. Only they didn't anticipate their bond being so strong. Aww the power of love. What a theme. It's funny seeing the Matrix give a morality lesson over an ethical one. Or is it the Human Vs. Machine distinction?

well i think smith has a big part in the next movie ^_^
and during the film when
smith copyed him self and entered one of the zions through the phone, that was too cool. but the archetect doesent seem to take smith into effect. personally i think that smith will bring down the matrix by his infection of evoryone.
Honestly... I don't really agree with the idea of the "Supermatrix."
It's very obvious the Oracle and Architect persaude the ones with predestined futures... however... as it's stated: Choice. You are there to understand your choice. Meaning, there's no real persausion from the Oracle or Architect: because everyone is predestined to do something - Choice.
and god said unto cain, "wow you're pretty stupid."
Actually, it's quite possible that it was a celebration of the human condition/spirit, as they believe they are truly free humans. Of course if the supermatrix theory holds, well they aren't =PGuynietoren wrote:I also would rather they left out the Rave scene.
