Tsukasa's friends

I've read posts about how Sora wants to be Tsukasa's friend, but if he wants to be his friend so badly then why did he help the Crimson Knights capture Tsukasa? Sorry if i sound ignorant about this but i just dont get this. i think that Subaru feels Tsukasa's pain the most...

Sora has.. an interesting definition of friendship.

[spoiler]Yes, he helped the Crimson Knights capture Tsukasa, but mostly for his own goals. He wanted to talk to Tsukasa, and he knew well enough that Tsukasa wouldn't want to stick around and talk to him.

Which is why he helped organize a plan, for his own benefit, to capture Tsukasa so they could talk. It's also why he 'staged' a rescue once he was captured. Tsukasa would have no idea that he was partly at fault for his capture, so he would appear as the good guy, saving him!

He's a manipulative guy, I'll give you that.[/spoiler]

But his reasons for wanting to know Tsukasa and be his friend is kinda the same one as with most people on MMORPGs who flock to those with power... like iRO and Christy's hoardes of fanboys/fangirls. You wanna be friends with the people higher up because maybe you can get in on cool things, no?

I can't say if, towards the end of the series, his reasons change.. if he wants to be friends for friendship's sake or not.

You can decide that ^_^

and then there's BT, she seems so concerned about tsukasa but she helped also. I'm sure that Bear knows BT helped stage this thing so why would he hang around her?

i realy dont see why evoryone is so friendly to christy, see always is evil with the monsters and i have not seen her once in the game

I think he always knew that she couldn't be trusted, but that he figured they knew each other well enough that she would keep HIS secrets. He basically overestimated their friendship.
