What exactly are the little paper tags on Sanjuro's arm? Anyone know? Does it have to do with samurai?

I always thought it was some form of scale-mail, but I'm not sure. Maybe they're magical wards or something?

I always wondered about that too :/ They could be Magical Wards as you say,Talismens rather.But he is the only character that has that type of thing,then again,maybe he just liked to modify his character to look all Samurai-ish?

Yeah.. Reminds me of the talismen on the kyonshi(frozen corpse) Li Pailong's head.

(Li Pailong is a character from one of my all time favorite manga/animes "Shaman King")

And then Li Pailong reminds me of the monsters Munak and Bon Gun in RO ^^;..

I love Munak and Bon Gun,they are so cute.It would be cool if you could have characters like that,but they are only enemies :/ Those two also remind me of Hsien-Ko[Lei lei?] from NightWarriors[Darkstalkers].

So true, I thought that too. But I don't see a talisman on Sanjuro.

Anyway, I think yeah, he just modified his char. look samurai-ish. It's just a diff. char to look nice for the game, I guess.

I checked www.samurai-archives.com and didn't find anything on this cloth... I'm pretty sure that it is only decorative....

Anyway, I've figured for a while that yes, it's just scale-mail on his arm, but it's just really poofy sticking-out straight kinda scale-mail stuff. I dunno, some Samurai have armor one arm, some don't..

Maybe he's just special.
