Hacking

Should hacking characters be allowed? For those that have watched Dusk the Kights of War are a little strict in prosecuting hackers. But maybe this is the way it has to be because letting the little things go bye will lead to bigger and bigger things. I use to be a mod for a few games on EA and we let no hacks go bye. Opinions?

Well,for me,I wouldnt care really,lol.But for the admins of the World,they did take it too far and were strict upon it.Even with just a few attachments or accesories to their characters,they got all mad about it,which I think is rather dumb.I'm guessing they didnt want anymore weird events from the past happen again,which of course did,and the Knights couldnt do a thing about it ;P

I think that hacking a character's appearance is fine, look however you want, but if levels and whatnot were hacked, I wouldn't like it very much. My motto (offtopic: from ragnarok) is:
"If it's not causing other players distress, then go ahead."

Admins would prosecute anyone used hacked characters or whatever for one or both of these reasons:

1. Their non-conventional data may screw around with everyone else and ruin the experience and/or stability of the overall game.

2. A hacked appearance could mean someone who could pose a threat to the system.

So.. they do have a justification.

Very well said about hacking Jerec. Also I'll note hacking means you have broke into their system most likely as normally in games like say Diablo 2 your char is stored on company servers. But still the Blue Knights do have a stick up their butts >.> With how they ignored the whole Coma thing
