Man..I couldn't believe how much this one took me to do.. Aura only took me a day to do, then another day of cleaning. This thing took me two straight days just to finish. o_o Glad it's done, and glad the shading came out so nicely.. Hope you like it..

I noticed that a part of Subie's hair doesn't curve as well. I don't know whether or not that was your intention, but I highlighted that in here:

Now, I do want to say that your lines look for clean; ever do lineart before? I also like the subtlety of the shading under the nose and the lip. The shading of her hair doesn't look bad either.

That line was intentional. The hair raises up just a little at that area, and the curve moves to compensate. At least that's how I saw it at one angle on the tape, but it didn't show on any other, but I decided to show it anyway..
I do lineart on most of my pictures. Usually if it's a picture like this I'll clean the lines, go over them with my 2H lead, clean again, 2H lead again, make sure they're all as clean as they can get, then I go over them once or twice with my 2B lead to darken the lines. Though this was my first time shading as much as this.
If I ink, I either use a bowl tip nip pen with India ink or my set of Sakura microns, those work very nicely on this paper.
Anyway, I'm a perfectionist, so blame that for the time it takes me to finish these pictures. ^_^;;

Question is..should I ink Subaru and Aura now?

As a guy who doesn't draw, and thus has no knowledge of the technical aspects of drawing, I think it's really good.

Wow. Your pictures are amazing ^_^ I saw your Aura one, too, and let me say that you really seem to nail the style of .hack down. I think the extra time on this one was worth it.

Ooo...these are really awesome!! Having that extended time,was well worth it ^^; Excellent job! I'm no Subaru fan,but you got the drawing down just perfect.The very curves on her face,the hair,the eyes,even the highlights.To me,I wouldnt ink it,it looks great just as it is,since you darken the outlines with the pencil,but thats just me.

Alright, I've decided not to ink either of them, so now I'm going to take requests on who I show do next. I rather like doing these characters. ^_^ Anyway, I'll choose the highest after 10 votes, and a friend already asked for Sora. You know who you are, hehe. So 9 more votes to go.

Oh yeah, the character has to be in episode 3 - Folklore for long enough so I can get a good pose.

it says 403 forbidden that people keep steeling the pics off bored and the last two is tripod and then theres the tripod icon when i click on it.is there another place we can go to see it?
