Subaru and Tsukasa fanart

..yeah, I'm new.

I occasionally end up with HOURS and HOURS of free time at work, in which I doodle (it's a good use for the incredible amount of scratch paper we generate), and I randomly did .hack//sign fanart, so.... yup.

The scan's fairly craptastic, because it was scanned with a fax machine (...don't ask, just don't). I'm probably going to slap some color on it once I get a decent scan of it (read: scan it with a real scanner).

I like it. Is Subaru making a "V" sign too? Her hair kind of blocks her fingers. Very cool though.

Yeah, but I wasn't paying attention when I inked it, and I wound up inking her hair in BEFORE her hand. Whoops. x_x

Wow! I love that picture! The style is very different, but I say that's what makes it so cute ^_^ You're a good artist - I'd like to see more of your work.

Thanks. ._. I have a kind of weird distinct style... it's hard for me to get away from it (and when I try the results usually SUCK).

The office where I work has The Scariest Copy Machine Ever -- it can photocopy AND send faxes AND get faxes AND copy something and email it to you (which is apparently an extension of the fax function somehow). Unfortunately the quality is really awful. The machine disturbs me, because it RINGS when it gets a fax. Just like a phone. It's really spooky when you're making copies and suddenly the machine starts RINGING and then spitting paper that is NOT your copies.

My avatar is a Valkyrie Profile sprite. Since I can't find actual hrist sprites anywhere, it's a Lenneth sprite with the colors tweaked.

And... I do fanart about twice a year, to be completely honest, so the chances of me drawing more .hack stuff is pretty slim. ._.

Sorry 'bout that. But yeah, I was sorta bumping it up too. Cos durnit, there's no point in battling the scanner to get a decent scan if nobody's gonna LOOK.

It's REALLY hard to find a decent color reference for either of them. All the anime screenshots I found had weird lighting, and all the non-screenshot character art I found had slightly different coloring. @_@ So I'm pretty sure some of the colors (especially on Tsukasa) are messed up. Argh.
