creating a dot hack character.

How would one turn ones self into a .hack character?I tried tracing my pic and adding on the accesories, but it didnt work.

You'd probably need good experience in art & drawing anime.

Well... it helps on knowing how to draw anime/manga, like Elk said.

I would guess it's just like drawing a regular anime/manga character, only it looks similar like you with the different outfits, accessories, etc. etc.

Well the only way I can draw anime, or manga is if I see it done like on how to drawmanga tuturials .comWere they show the lines and stuff.

well maybe you should find the pic that you like mist and draw it and after your done change it alittle (like its close or somtin) to look like you

You can only do it with how-to's.....not a problem, just it's easier once you 'graduate' from that. Basically the only thing that I'd think that you'd need from those are the body structures. There are two basic body types, male and female (go figure). The main differences are the neck, shoulders, legs, and the hip area. Once you master the basic form of a person (regardless of gender) you should be fine without the how-to's. Once you have your character, all you have to do is add on a bit of .hack flavor. I'd suggest looking at the cards (you can view them online at www.dothackenemy.com) for ideas about the 'style' of .hack. Good luck!

I have a question about that game is it like the yu-gi-oh game, or is it an online game?

The card game? It's battle system is....unique. Rather than have Attack and Defence points, the monsters and people have destiny and strength. Anyway, the game is offline, but you can view the cards online.

Don't use those.... ~_~;;; develope your own style... It annoys me when people think they can draw just by doing those; especially when the "How-to's" have not-so-great of art.

I have the How-to-Draw more manga book, and I don't really like their eyes. I try to mix together different styles to create my very own, and even add my own edits.

If you want to draw yourself as a .hack character, take a good look at all the character classes, and different colors as well, then picture yourself wearing them. But drawing yourself is pretty hard.

Anyways, since this is jumping topics quite abit, I'll just sum it up.

The best thing to dow ould be to first come up with your own drawing style, then practice & experiement with drawing the .hack costumes.
