An elegy.

I thought this up in history class. Tell me what you think:

Tsukasa (Elegy for a Lonely Soul)
by ichi

There's nowhere to run
From this darkness inside.
Through a life ful of shadows,
I've silently cried.

Can this darkness be pierced?
Will I ever be free?
Is there anyone who could
Care about me?

A life full of sadness,
Pain, all the doubt;
Can I ever find
A single way out?

Oh, gentle white Moon,
Your light on my face,
Hide me from present,
And my past erase.
