They said that they would only release it in japan. Sorry, I'm bummed too.

Especially since it involves all the characters from the show, game, and then shugo and rena from dusk. that part looked as cool as the online part. Its a kinda, finale to the old versions of altimit and the world.

Well, hopefully so then. Of course we wouldnt play together. They'd be pushed to do instant translation or something like that. and that would be insanely difficult to perfect.

Anyways, that doesn't exactly say that U.S. players wont be able to access a Japanese server... The only reason why I'd think they wouldn't, would be due to the language difference in the games, but I do believe that this doesn't stop people who play FFXI through their PS2's.
So, we don't really know.

There will be no neural goggles made. It's just a PS2 game. It wont be exactly like THE WORLD, only similar.
