Shugo's ZAP data drain, was because he was too low of a level, so basicly, data drain "failed" in a way.
Shugo DOES use the bracelet correctly later though.

And Shuugo's Bracelet is logically weaker since in can't put Komiyan III into comma, I agree ^^ The bracelet has lost its power to bring destruction fufufufu -3-

The power of the bracelet basically has the same ability the Phases have. It mentions in the games (several times) that the Data Drain is what put Orca into a coma.
Yet, Shugo's DDed several characters, and not one of them has been thrown into a coma.

Yes, but in the anime, he DDs Komiyama twice and a whole team of Colbat Knights (err.. that's what they're called in the anime, right? I forget--haven't watched it in a good while).
Well, couldn't Aura have modified the bracelet, considering that Morganna is gone and it's a more peaceful time? Wouldn't that account for the inability to put players into comas with Shugo's bracelet?

They never did say anything about the bracelet being modified, so yep.. a possibility. Aura's the one who created the bracelet in the first place, isn't she?
