shugo & Kite bracelet, virus cores and gate hacking

i having this question since i see .hack//udeden when shugo data drain a modified monster he never gets a virus core or they dont say if they get a item.

As in the game when you data drain a monster you get a item or virus cores but in udeden no.

Why???

And when he hack a gate he doenst use a virus core only his bracelet begin shining and there he is in the place.

Is shugo bracelets better than kite or what?

In someways, it probably is better than Kite's, since Aura has had the time to modify it, other those 2-3-4 years.... anyways... this has been over discussed. Locked.^^;;
