I'm still confused about who/what mia is...i know she's a NPC but how did she come into being and y was she in the monster that looked like Tsukasa's guardian...and why did Maha show up there... am i missing something...i never saw SIGN in that why i'm so confused...

I agree that you should go see SIGN, however...

One possible answer to your question is because Maha was data drained by a guardian, or a monster of the same type if you like that better.
When the snow melts, what does it become?
