is .hack mutaion worth 50$?

Unfortunately, thats the nature of retail prices of anime.

But if you were to go to Best Buy.. that's different.

my friend bought a ps2 simply to play .hack and said it was worth it, so chugging out $50 may not be so bad as to buyying a console just for one game, plus chances are .hack may become a greatest hit

i did a check and to date bandai has not released a greatest hit title, mainly because of being a license to either animes or a side story to animes, but i guess greatness must come with some price

I was referring to regular anime DVDs, which are often overpriced and at retail in most places, but Best Buy usually sells anime cheaper.

I bought .hack//SIGN for FFX and Jak&Daxter, a while back. But the .hack games are certainly worth it by themselves. Though I wouldn't mind the cutscenes being a little... smoother. Half the time they take without moving their lips.

I'd say it's worth 50, or at least 10 more, but I'd stop there, cause if the price was higher, then I'd go to borders and buy manga ^_^ (man I am so stupid, huh?)
