Future of dothack

Ghost in the Shell is making somewhat of a comeback....(with the new video game, Innosence the movie, GitS: SAC in english) But the manga he's talking about is made by some guy in the US who also made the short 'anime' (it's all just CG) Shadowskin and something else.... But basically, a sequel would turn it into DBZ (Episode starts, Goku and new enemy stare at each other, tell energy levels, "You're bluffing!", Goku dies, dragon balls, kill enemy with new-found power, BBQ, new enemy appears, repeat until desired affect is achieved)

if there is going to be another .hack with a new story, i believe it will most likely be a side story ^^ just like Gundam 0079 having so many sidestories

There was a beta tester who got killed... my probable guesses are either Harold Hoerwick or some loser that we don't know even know.

I really wish Proyect .hack people make a side story of what happened with Kite, Tsukasa and co. in the years between .hack//sign and game series and .hack//DUSK

and how Kite loose his char avatar so that shuugo could win it at the contest.

he never lost the avatar...he just stopped playing for a while because of school, and the dothackers avatars that rena won were edited ones made to look a tad bit different so people could tell the difference..

Yeah, both of the .hack novels are pre-game.

.hack//AI Buster takes place before SIGN, then .hack//Zero takes place after SIGN and before the games.

also, what about this .hack//gift, is it an oficial real or not?

What do you mean? .hack//GIFT is a real episode, but it's just a joke episode. None of the things that occur in it actually happened... though the whole "dancing lady turning into Helba thing" does seem to point towards that lady being Helba in RL.
