Eh, I wouldn't say Elk is a depressive person. He has a hard time getting used to people, isn't very well at communicating, and doesn't have many friends. So now he's depressed? I mean, I could say the same. It's hard for me to get used to people, I have a hard time communicating, and I don't really have a lot of friends. If you ask me, he looks happy more than he is sad. I really don't see where people get the idea that he's exactly like Tsukasa, personality wise.
As for Hotaru, um... anime or manga, I -really- don't see her crying left and right... Okay, so she has -two- quick scenes in the span of two volumes where she cries, but she's more sensitive about her feelings than, say, Ouka. That's just their personality. Hotaru is a happy person, but can easily get sad if the things she stands for get poked at.
