Mimirus Sword

anyone else notice how mimirus sword grows and shrinks in the show? its like a different size every time you see it

I don't believe I have really noticed it......it always looks about the same to me...

I did notice that it's became larger, then smaller.

All the weapons grow and shrink like B.T. ans Tsukasa's staffs vary. I guess it is hard to judge the size for the angles?

Well, comming from someone who draws, it's kind of hard to make something the exact same size/shape/etc. every single time...

I mean, unless they were like Disney and measured it in every single scene, which I highly doubt they would do.

I haven't noticed it. But I actually watch the show, not try to catch every detail that was drawn wrong(not trying to be rude). But now that you say that I guess I see it now.

yeah, i noticed that a while back when trying to draw Mimiru (Keyword here is trying) At one time, it looked like a normal sword!

yeah i noticed that too. but its probably just a miss of drawing. it usually looks about the same though.

Ya, I did notice weapon size changes, but in tsukasa's staff (ive only seen 4 episodes). but however I did notice the same thing happens in the game, I noticed it with everyones weapon in the game.

Ah yes, the wonderful advantages of being an anime character: Spikey multi-colored hair, occasional bizarre and inexplicable facial expressions that are totally beyond most westerners, huge doe eyes, and of course, weapons that conveniently change size to fit appropriately and gracefully in whatever scene you're in...

But then again, dot-hack characters are not just anime characters in a movie, they're anime characters in a movie that are inside a game! NO rules of reality apply for them! YAY!

Yes, a lot of the weapons do grow and shrink... but maybe it's one of the aspects of the game? Like in the morning the weapon looks really small and tend to increase in size during the course of the day?
After all, we all don't know what time it is for every scene that is shown, but every time that we see the actual person sitting at the computer, they are playing in perpetual darkness.... Great i'm comfused now
