Do you believe in Aliens?

Now this is a touchy subject for some people. Just like in the war topic please dont make negative comments about other peoples opinions.

Now I believe in aliens i think there has to be some other kind of life other than humans because it just wouldn't make sense. If we are the only liveing intelligent life out there then we are the most lonely people alive. But i do not think aliens have come to earth. i dont think crop circles are real or any of the siteings. I think that they either dont have the technology to come to earth yet, or they have the technology and they do not want to come here or they dont even know that we even exist. Now i dont think that liens look like the lil green men i think they resemble us a little. But i also like to think of the universe as a giant planet with different species and subspecies.(animals that live on the alien planets not necissarily looking like earth animals either.)

All I think is, "Why should 'we' (the earth) be the the only one in the universe with the 'luck' to be away far enough from a sun, not to burn, but close enough not to freeze"

Anyways... truthfully? I have no clue. I used to say no. Now, well its just an 'I don't know'. *shrugs* Besides, I think that the term 'intelligent life' is quite a fitting term for aliens... because... if there's intelligent life out there, it's most certainly not us. n.n;

we have a long way to go before we are considered intelligent we are more like a baby we are curious and are reaching out to see whats hot and whats cold and what not.

I'd like to think that there are eteraterestrials out there. It would be a comfort to know that life will still go on after weve destroyed ourselves here.

From a purely scientific viewpoint on the existance of extra-terrestrials, the chances of their being life somewhere else other than Earth, and even intellegent life, are incredibly -high-. In fact, few people have doubt that some form of life exists on some other planet simply because of the fact that our universe is so HUGE. Whether or not we will ever meet up with them is something yet to be seen, and such a thing seems impossible because of the same statisticts that make it likely that they exist.

The only way we'd have a chance of meeting up with life such an incredible distance away is to research methods of transportation of a more quantum perspective. Theoretical physics is really the only way to go, at this time, and our present level of technology. Space flight would be fruitless for the amount of time and effort it would take to reach another area of the universe, or even our own galaxy.

I could get more into the research and theory going into this idea, but I'd probably bore you to death.

Nope ya wouldn't bore me cause im takeing physics right now lol. I think that alien technology is probably way advanced ahead of our time even if they cannot reach us.

quantum physics and quantum travel are so fun... ever read timeline? great book... time travel through quantum physics... anyway... yea... i think that somewhere out there, there are other beings... and i refuse to believe that humans are the most intelligent life form in the universe... it would be a very sad state of affairs if we are...

True, that.

I believe they exist, I don't believe they've come here. Because if they did, they'd have one of 3 reactions a) No intelligent life here, and move on, b) destroy the earth (or just us), or c) strip mine the planet.

If any of these came to pass, I think we'd notice.

which do you believe in more... aliens or a god... there is no real concrete proof of either ever existing or being on our planet... the belief in both is based on faith... i personally think aliens are more likely
