We all know that Tsukasa's consiousness was inside The World and that her body was barely able to stay alive outside of it, right?

Well here's my thought, what if Tsukasa's body outside of The World died?

That would mean that Tsukasa could NEVER log out. As such, Tsukasa would only exist inside the game.

Any thoughts?

Yep, that's what would have happened. Tsukasa would be stuck in the game as a Wandering AI. We know it's possible, since Tartarga said it happened to Harald.

Would Tsukasa know that her body was dead in the real world? would she feel the pain of the body dying?

Yes I remember that episode. Poor Harold though, sought by a one true love, and his hopes perished unto drepression. He may as well be one of the biggest victoms in the .hack world.

actually Tsukasa can't die in "The World" but if the resperator was taken off again then he could've died

Well, you could always shut down The World and reboot it.

Well, if "The World" was rebooted, and Tsukasa comes back through the programming, wouldn't an admin notice it then? Then some1 could delete him, thinking he was a virus or something...

heh not really they wouldn't be able to delete him he's got the DD remember? hackers can ushually stay online the rest of the time even when they reboot they'd have to change everything to have the hacker out
