Could some one recap?
This is just a brief (unfinished and really short) summary. Not to mention crappy...
Ok... the episode starts off with a boy (Tom???
) leveling up in a field with big, pink palm trees. Suddenly, a monster appears. "Tom" has never seen this monster before, nor has anyone else, but he kills it anyway. Then suddenly, portals start appearing around him, and produce the unkown monsters. Tom tries to run and fend them off, but they manage to slice him in one hit.
*transition*
A boy slumps down in front of his computer and falls into a coma with the VR goggles still on him.
*Opening song*

You see Shugo sitting on his desk, explaining about how he won a contest for "The World". It turns out he won Kite's avatar; however, Shugo doesn't even play "The World"! Luckily, Rena calls, and tells him that she installed "The World" onto his computer, and left the controls and VR goggles in his closet before she left.
*transition*
So Shugo logs on, and finds himself in a root town. He walks through the town, until some scary looking man asks him to join his party. Shugo runs across the bridge, but isn't looking where he is going, so he bounces off of some sexy breasts
and falls on the ground. The woman stares at him, offended, and walks sexily away (is that a word?)
Oh look, it's Rena! She has some cute Blackrose avatar, and instantly starts chatting with him.
As they chat away, people start noticing them and whispering, because the Kite and Blackrose avatars have never been used ever since they became legends.
Anyways, Shugo starts to get bored, and asks Rena to do something else. She suggests they go fight some monsters.
*transition*
Shugo and Rena are at the chaos gate, but are closely watched by a girl in the backround. Rena shouts out, "Bursting Passed Over Aqua Field", then the little girl follows.
*transition*
Rena shows Shugo to a portal. A small, lvl 1 monster pops out, and Shugo runs at it stupidly
and doesn't attack. The monster almost kills Shugo, then is destroyed by Rena. It turns out that Shugo hasn't even read the manual yet!
COMMERCIAL
Shugo and Rena are back at another portal, shortly after he has read the manual =P He is now ready, but instead of a small shrimpy monster, a huge lvl 48 monster pops out!
Both players run for their lives, but Shugo gets hit and is killed.

Back to Shugo's room, and he is sitting at his computer, but he can't move! He shouts for his parents, but he can't yell either.
*transition*
Rena is still running from the gigantic monster, and runs into a house to hide. Unfortunately, the monster can still fit inside, so then she runs through a window onto a pole. She wonders why Shugo isn't following her as a ghost.
*transition*
Shugo in "The World" can't move either, and he's falling through nothing. But he suddenly stops, and sees Aura floating next to him. She says, "You are not ready to die yet. You are the only one that can defeat the monster." Then, a huge metal hexagon appears on his hand... Ok, the bracelet
*transition*
Rena is still hanging in there, but the monster is now on the roof and heading straight for her. But suddenly, out of nowhere, *FANFARE*Balmung of the Azure Sky *FANFARE* appears and cuts the side of the monster, thus killing him. But it doesn't; instead, the cut heals and the monster is still at full health.
(Eh, don't remember the rest of the episode exactly... Remember, this is a crappy summary, I'm sure someone else could do better)

. Too bad I missed it, the exact same thing happened with .hack//SIGN, but I finally saw it XD. They'll probally show the series again, it's only like 13 episodes or somthing, right? They mussssttttttt *runs to dark corner and mutters*

Well, the show seems to somewhat like Kirby: Right Back at ya. Everything is always bright and cheerful; .hack//sign however, was so dark...
