SIGN characters' levels
I think you're giving Subaru too much credit. Remember where she met that other heavy axe(wo)man? The girl said to Subaru "I bet you never bothered to level-up?", and I don't think Subaru disagreed with her on that. She might as well be level 1 ..
[EDIT: Tsukasa- Please don't post spoilers on this board without the 'spoiler' tag above... That's what the Serious Discussion board is for. Thank you.]

Why don't we try to guess from the servers? ^__^ Mimiru's always playing around in Don Loireag. Bear roams in Calmina Garderica ^__^ our guessing for those 2 is kind of close then ^__^
And.. I heard you got Tsukasa, Sora, and Subaru in vol 4. If anyone has actually played it.... Do their levels there make sense if compared with what we see in //SIGN?
Pagyuu~ desunoh?
How can Sora and Crim (Crimson Knight) be close to the same level. Sora kills Crim very easily when he goes to "rescue" Tsukasa. And Kurim (Guy who left Crimson Knights) tells Crim to level up, to get stronger because he can't protect Subaru at his current state. But I also agree with Sora that Crim, and Sora's level may have been slightely higher (maybe 40-ish).
Enlighten me. I've only seen //SIGN, no other ones.

Let's have some fun.

wait, wait, wait. First off, Crim and Kurim are the same, just different spellings. ^^ I think the crimson knight you're talking about is Ginkan.Herenecco wrote:How can Sora and Crim (Crimson Knight) be close to the same level. Tsukasa: 40
Crim/Krim: 50
Sora:50
Mimiru: 30
Bear: 60
Balmung: 60
BT: 20
Subaru: 40...+? [wouldn't a sysadmin be at a high level?]
Sora, Krim, Bear, Balmung, and Subaru would all have to be *pretty* strong, seeing as how they hold high positions [not official positions, but Bear/Orca being Balmung's partner...Fiana thing, right right...] I don't think an admin would be all that weak, seeing as how she would probably be a PK target for many if she was weak. Like Sora could probably take her down even with the Knight's protecting her.
My guess is that Ginkan is actually a weakling, because when he attacked Tsukasa, Tsu wasn't really going to attack. Remember, Tsukasa isn't the one who would go out and fight...He has that guardian beast and he lets that thing take care of stuff.

Not to mention she's not a sysadmin. This is obvious because in one episode she requests action from a Sysadmin. If she were a sysadmin, she'd do it herself. And even if she were a sysadmin, that would be no reason for her to be at a high level at all. What's the use of being high level if you've got godlike powers? One doesn't gain sysadmin status by being high level.
Also, there's no way that Bear would be higher level than Krim and Sora. In fact, none of the people involved in the //SIGN events are likely of 'legendary' status at all. Think about it.
When a hacked monster shows up in a dungeon with Bear, Subaru, and Mimiru, they have to run away because they can't possibly take it on. However, Balmung takes the thing on -by himself-. Going by your level placement, Bear could have taken it on and not had to worry about the others at all. Remember, both Bear and Balmung are Heavy Blade class, but Balmung is higher level.
Also, you place BT's level far too low, in my opinion. She may get PKed all the dang time by Sora, but that's because of an inherent skill difference between them. Mages are notoriously low in HP and defense. Also, Sora is a fast little bugger. His advantage is, and always has been speed, agility, and his nifty katars. BT could be higher level than he and he could still probably manage to PK her, but likely she isn't higher level. She's probably around Bear's level, frankly.
Back to Krim and Sora, they've shown themselves, time and time again, that they're likely the most powerful fighters in the group.
You reasoning for Ginkan to be weak is flawed. He attacked Tsukasa because he was resisting 'arrest', so to speak. He wouldn't go quietly, he had to use force.
Ginkan is probably not as high a level as Krim anymore, however, though perhaps they started the Crimson Knights at the same level.. however, Krim has had much more time to level up since he quit, being able to run around without a care and fight monsters and all.

My level placements were placed about the .hack//infection/etc. levelling...Wasn't it that Bear/Orca and Balmung were both legends?
So I think if you make Mimiru, Bear, Tsukasa and BT all level 30, then that should put them close their actual levels. It should still stand with Balmung, Sora, and Krim being among the strongest. Krim and Sora being equal because when they faced-off they seemed even and it wasn't told who won. It could be possible Sora won because he came back without a scratch.

Yes, and I needed all of 3 of you to tell me that.
Bear/Orca confused me a bit...because in //infection a message on the BBS says Orca helped them when they were a newbie...In the first few episodes of sign BEAR says he always helps newbies.
