That's what I think too. I thought it might be because they want to wait until the series ends on tv. But I'm not sure, for I haven't played the import to know if that's the reason.

probly to make more time to increse the fan base, let the fans start from game 1 - 2, promote and and let .hack//sign finish up its run?

I found out at EBgames that OUTBREAK should be released by the 11th of October, and that QUARENTINE will be out by December.

Gamestop still says 8/5: http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=280670. However, with the ad saying Outbreak is coming in "fall", I'm pretty sure they're wrong.

Gamestop has an annoying habit of keeping with original release dates and either ignoring or not looking for updates or pushbacks. I've noticed this with almost all products I'm interested in.

For instance, despite -after- an official announcement from Konami that there would be no Suikoden III X-box release, they still insisted it would be out two months later than the PSII release >_>; Now, Konami has been known to change their minds (officially, mind you), but Gamestop really doesn't seem to keep up with stuff like that.

Though with all the SIII stuff going on now, I wonder if they read the -year- wrong 6_6;

At any rate, the dates Reki posted regarding the new game release dates are probably the most accurate. I tend to say a later date is going to be more probable.
