I'm guessing that the leveling system for Sign and the games are different because in the game you can get to level 30 in like 30 hours so it'd be impossible to judge Sign levels based on the games level system My guess is Balmung 47-49 Sora and Crim are like 35-40, Bear and BT 25-30, Mimiru 20, Tsukasa and Subaru 10-15

Good point Fenring. It's hard to believe a player could reach a legendary level by playing The World for an entire weekend without sleep (assuming their character wasn't killed repeatedly). Maybe that's why Orca is such a high level, because Yasuhiko, being 15, is more apt to play non-stop than a 40 year old (in my opinion).

Don't forget that the .hack game characters probably get a lot of experience from fighting tons of monsters.. and it's possible that hacked monsters give more XP. All the same, having an item like the bracelet lets them take on monsters above their level to the point that they can level extremely fast.

I don't know how to explain this, but in Anime/Manga <-> Game transitaitons, characters are always over-powered or under-powered. IE: Yuffie in FF7 - you run into her in the woods, and she's like, l337 1500 HP Ninja. You... actually get her, and her stats are much crappier than that. FF10 - Seymour uses Anima on A BUNCH OF STUFF. Yuna gets the same summon, and it does crap damage. Ragnarok Online - Baphomet casts Lord of Vermillion on you; you're screwed. You cast Lord of Vermillion on Baphomet, it does pitiful damage.
and god said unto cain, "wow you're pretty stupid."
