If Bandai actually created The World, it'd need a lot of rules.

And the main one I want to point out is:

While your character design would be customizable, recreating the .hack characters would be impossible. Certain combinations (like: twin blade + red clothes + hat + turquoise hair = kite) wouldn't be allowed, forcing players to create original characters.

Characters that aren't from .hack...and I don't see why Bandai would actually bother limiting certain customization types like that.

like I said on a different board...if "The World" game was to exist why would anyone want to make a character the same as a .hack//SIGN or game character...its not original. and it would be best if the only way to get the skins/avatar of a real .hack//SIGN or game character is by winning a contest like Shugo did in //DUSK

I mean "original characters" as opposed to copies of main characters from the .hack animes and games. "Original" like "creative".

Another example of being unoriginal:

heavy blade + burgundy armor + brown hair + blue eyes = Mimiru


However, coming up with a combination of options unlike a main character's would be original.

O, still ya they should have contests like in Dusk..although that wasn't official >_> I think...I haven't seen it all. Although it would be cool to be able to make em like that.... I would make mine like Tsukasa XD

thats why there would be restrictions and rules, because of people like Tsukasa-Kun who wants their character to look like a .hack character...although if he made it like totally different colors then that would be fine...but to get Tsukasa's character you would need to win a contest...unless he's protrayed as an AI.....

Hm, my friend said they were making .hack//THE WORLD (online) for ps2. He said he saw it on codes.ign or sumthing >_> He tells a lot of lies though sometimes..

Kite's design was already illegal in the first place. On the outside, you could tell he was hacked, if I'm correct, because there are no colors like that for a twin user using his design. o.o

LOL, I like how you said "yet".

BTW, did anyone notice the "screenshots" of The World in the news section in the game? They clearly showed characters that resembled the main ones in the story, except that they were completely different colors.
