.hack//Epitaph of Twilight (Japanese: .hack//黄昏の碑文, Hepburn: .hack//Tasogare no Hibun) are light novels set before the events detailed in AI Buster and SIGN. The story takes place across the span of two volumes and details the events surrounding Lara, Harald's niece, and a prototype version of The World. The series was only published in Japan and has not been officially released in any other languages.
