The WonderHawk (ワンダーホーク, Wandāhōku) is based on the WonderSwan (ワンダースワン, WandāSuwan), which was an actual handheld game console released by Bandai. The console series was initially released in 1999 before eventually being discontinued in 2003. No version of the console was released outside of Japan in any official capacity.
The WonderSwan Revolution is also a fictional upgrade to the WonderSwan. In reality, the original Wonderswan had two upgrades; the Wonderswan Color[1] and SwanCrystal[2].
