This is the {{non-free media}} meta-template.

It should be transcluded into every known non-free image copyright template. It categorises images that are tagged with those copyright templates into Category:All non-free media. Thus allowing a machine-readable list of all non-free media to be created. It should not be used directly.

Parameters

metadata
set to no when used in a template which does not need machine-readable metadata (which is probably every template that's not a copyright template).
