The Dothack Info contains thousands of images and music files that we try our best to keep track of, from the smallest to the largest. Every file that's uploaded requires a license template, which acknowledges the copyrights of Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 and ensures that all files are organized and categorized correctly across the wiki. When uploading a file, you'll see a dropdown box that lists the various license templates used on the wiki. To add a license template, simply click on the dropdown box and select one from the list. After you've uploaded the file, the selected license template will appear on the file page, and the corresponding category will be applied to the file. If you're not sure what type of license should be used for a file you want to upload, see the examples listed below.
Most common licenses
Game screenshot: Typical screenshot that is generally taken from a video game. Categorized under Category:Game screenshots. Code: {{game-screenshot}}
Game sprite / Game 3D render: A singular or set of sprites or 3D renders taken from a video game. Be aware that some sprites look 3D and some renders look like pixelated sprites: knowledge of the game in question is needed to properly label its image. Game cover: An image of a box cover that depicts the title of a game, usually the front side. Categorized under Category:Game covers. Code: {{game-cover}}

Game logo: Image of a game cover that usually appears on the front game cover title. Categorized under Category:Logos. Code: {{game-logo}}
