In 2005, Bandai merged with Namco to become Namco Bandai Holdings. In 2006, Namco and Bandai's video game operations merged into Namco Bandai Games (later known as Bandai Namco Entertainment). Some of the older logos are still used on the official website, toy box packaging, and in-screen credits in audiovisual materials.
While the .hack//G.U. games were released under "Namco Bandai Games Inc." (2006–2014) the later .hack//G.U. Last Recode was released under "Bandai Namco Games Inc." (2014–2015), which caused some confusion among older fans.
