.hackey (Magazine)
.hackey ("dot hack key") was a Japanese monthly newsletter distributed to participating bookstores as a promotional campaign. The slogan was "Monthly Information Magazine for ".hackers."
About
Despite the label of "magazine" each issue consists of only 2-4 pages, and could also be described as "pamphlets." There were three eras of .hackey releases which coincided with the game releases; one for the Games Tetralogy, one for the G.U. Games, and one for Link (Game).
Stamp Campaign
During the Games Tetralogy era, there was a campaign for fans who collected stamps when they acquired the different issues of .hackey from participating storefronts. Fans could use a filled stamp card to earn special merchandise.
