Vagrant AI

A Vagrant AI is an entity in The World that surpasses the system and displays sapience. Because of their unsanctioned nature, they are frequently targeted for removal from the system by Administrators. As sapient beings, they seek to evade deletion in order to continue existing. For this reason, they frequently flee their pursuers and wander seeking safety, which is why they are called "Wandering" or "Vagrant" AI.
These entities are often the result of Morganna's Experiments, though sometimes they exist due to player involvement or the meddling of hackers.
Vagrant AI could also technically be considered NPCs, since they are not controlled by a human at a Computer Terminal. However, as they are also not controlled by normal system programming, they are classified as a distinct type of entity from regular NPCs. They are also distinct from the AI that were intentionally built into the game system.
