Isobe, Takayuki (磯部孝幸), also known as WAKA^[1], is an artist who worked on various CyberConnect2 projects. WAKA is best known for having drawn the grayscale periodic illustrations for the Another Birth novels.

Biography

According to Isobe's LinkedIn page, he worked at CyberConnect/CyberConnect2 from February 1996 to August 2019. He is listed as the Art Director for the .hack Games Tetralogy, and is listed among the CyberConnect2 Graphics Team.

こんにちわ！毎日日本刀を振り回しながらグラフィックの作業をしている身長57Mの巨人、 WAKAです。僕も今まで色々なゲームのグラフィックをやってきましたが、｢.hack｣は初のRPG で、しかも僕の大好きな貞本先生のキャラデザイン、更にアニメ、漫画とさまざまなメディアにまたがる大プロジェクトで、色々と勉強させて頂きました。まだ仕事は残っているのですが、後一息、ガンバリます！好きなキャラ：ガルデニア \|\|
