.hack//Quarantine (.hack//絶対包囲 Vol.4, Hepburn: .hack//Zettai Houi, lit. "Absolute Encirclement") is the fourth and final entry in the set of games released on the PlayStation 2. The games are set in the "first season" of the .hack series, taking place after SIGN and ZERO. The collection of games are sometimes referred to as a Tetralogy by official sources, a Quadrilogy or by the abbreviation "IMOQ" by fans, taking the first letter in each consecutive game's English title in chronological order (Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, Quarantine). Each game comes with a bonus DVD of the anime .hack//Liminality, which shows events occurring simultaneously offline. The games take part within the fictitious MMO of 「The World」.
