喫煙規制法案国会審議へ
かねてから話題になっていた『喫煙規制法案』が 次の国会で正式に審議されることがほぼ確実と なった。 同法案は、喫煙の「場所」「機会」に大幅な制限を 加えることを主眼としており、正式に成立されれば 鉄道駅や街頭はもとより、ホテルやデパート、映 画館、飲食店などあらゆる公共施設における喫 煙が全面的に禁止されることになる。煙草関連業 界を中心に根強い反対意見があるため法案成立 は微妙な状況。 なお、年末に予定されている煙草の値上げについ ては、同法案の成否にかかわらず実施されること が既に決まっている。 |
