Current News ゲーム中毒急増 ネットワークゲーム『ザ・ワールド』のヒットに伴 い、『ザ・ワールド』をプレイするために、中学、 高校、大学の出席率が異常な低下を見せてい ることが、文部省のアンケート調べにより明らか になった。 文部省、各自治体の教 育委員会、PTAなどは 連携して、生徒、学生 に出席を促すと同時に、 CC社への抗議も考えて いる。 出席率の低下は、学校に限らず、一般社会にも 影響を及ぼしており、ゲーム世代の会社員のな かには、プレイに集中したいとの理由から退社 する会社員まで現れた。
