Tokyo Bay (東京湾, Tōkyō-wan) is a bay in Japan, located in the southern Kanto region on the main island of Honshu's Eastern coast. It spans the coasts of Tokyo, Kanagawa prefecture, and Chiba prefecture. Tokyo Bay is connected to the Pacific Ocean by the Uraga Channel. The Tokyo Bay region is the largest industrialized area in Japan.

The fourth volume of Liminality take place in Tokyo Bay, specifically near Urayasu. Urayasu is a city located in Chiba Prefecture and is best known for being the home of the Tokyo Disney Resort. Originally the Tokyo Disneyland theme park opened on 15 April 1983 and was based on its sister location in Anaheim. A second theme park, Tokyo DisneySea, was opened on 04 September 2001.

Features in Liminality: Trismegistus . The association between Urayasu and Tokyo Disney prompts Yuki's comment about the theme park. Tokyo DisneySea's opening in September 2001 was concurrent with the development of the .hack Games Tetralogy and Liminality, though how this may have impacted the events in Trismegistus is uncertain.
