New Weapon in Online Retail
At the "Mail Order Trade Fair" in Makuhari
New City, the "Fitting Simulator" was the
center of industry attention. The "Fitting
Simulator" was developed by online retail
giant, "Benesson." It overcomes the
weakness of online retail by allowing the
consumer to input their body data and
create a virtual model of themselves on the
internet which they can dress with clothes.
Female consumers have voiced concern
about their body data being revealed on the
internet however, and "Benesson" is
considering a
downloadable
version of the
"Fitting Simulator"
for distribution.
