Current News 『ワンダーホーク』発売 玩具大手のバンダイは新型携帯ゲーム機『ワン ダーホーク』の開発を正式に発表した。 同機は現行マシン『ワンダースワン・レボリューシ ョン』の後継機にあたり、CPU能力を大幅に向上 させたもの。また現行基幹OS"ALTIMIT"と完全 互換しており、ネットワーク端末として機能する。 同社関係筋によれば第一弾対応ソフトとしてCC 社の大ヒットネットワークゲーム『ザ・ワールド』の 移植版が予定されているとか。

Current News "WonderHawk" Announcement Major toy retailer, BANDAI, today announced they are developing a new handheld game device called "WonderHawk." The device will be the successor to the currently available "WonderSwan Revolution," and will have improved CPU specs. BANDAI also announced that it will be compatible with the current key network OS, "ALTIMIT." and the device will also act as an internet terminal as well. According to company officials, CC Corporation's popular online game "The World" is slated to be one of the launch titles.

The English text is the same in the North American and PAL versions.

The WonderHawk (ワンダーホーク, Wandāhōku) is an entirely fictional console unqiue to the .hack universe. It is based on the WonderSwan (ワンダースワン, WandāSuwan), which is an actual handheld game console that was released in Bandai. It was released in 1999 and was eventually discontinued in 2003. No version of the console was released outside of Japan in any official capacity. There was never a WonderHawk console.
